Surrealism – Art Movement Presentation

Here is my Surrealism Presentation I have taken screenshots of each slide and created a gallery to allow you to view the presentation. Showing my presentation on my blog is much easier than having to present in front of my class. Anyway with out any further interruptions here is my presentation.

As a side note for explaining the manifesto –

AndrΓ© Breton wrote the manifesto for Surrealism, Breton defined Surrealism as a Pure psychic automatism, by which one proposes to express, either verbally, in writing, or by any other manner, the real functioning of thought. Dictation of thought in the absence of all control exercised by reason, outside of all aesthetic and moral preoccupation (Automatism the process of creating or preforming an action or task without thought or intention) So this means that Surrealism has no limits and like former movements Dada it is anti-rationalism. However Breton wanted Surrealism to be an Art Movement which all artists could unite and protest through the Subconscious Mind.
